Mountain Biking 

Tons of amazing mountain biking can be found throughout the valley! Short and accessible options include Bear Basin, Ponderosa Park, Jug Handle, and Tamarack. Longer more adventurous options include Blackwell Lake, Payette Rim, and Loon Lake.

Hiking 

Just like mountain biking, there are pretty much endless hiking options throughout Valley County. A very accessible option is Ponderosa Park, where many of the trails run along the shore of Payette Lake. Note that there is a state park entrance fee. Longer and challenging (and absolutely stunning) options include Crystal Lake and Snowslide Lake. For more personalized options, please reach out!

Payette Lake 

Payette Lake is one of our very favorite places to spend a summer day in McCall. The lake is stunning, deep, and clear. You can drive around the entire lake! For the best beaches and rocks, go down East Side Drive. For specific locations, please reach out!

The nearest airport is Boise, Idaho (BOI), about two hours from the venue. If flying, we recommend renting a car as public transportation is pretty much non-existent :/ Driving From MissoulaThe road is slow, winding, and stunning as it follows the Lochsa, Clearwater, and Salmon Rivers before opening into mountain valley near New Meadows, ID. From BoiseHighway 55 follows the Main Payette and North Fork Payette Rivers, before emerging into open landscape of Valley County near Cascade, ID. A Note on Cell ServiceThere is adequate cell service near the venue, but there is very limited service along both drives.

Getting Here 

Thursday 6/25 We will be rafting the Main Payette from Banks to Beehive Bend! BYOB &amp; B (boats and beer). If you would like to join but don't have a boat, please reach out to us and we will get you on the river! Our plan is to meet at Banks at 11:30 AM to run shuttles. Friday There are no organized events for the wedding. This is a great day to explore Payette Lake, Ponderosa State Park, or go for a hike to one of our beautiful alpine lakes! For specific recommendations, please reach out! Saturday (Wedding Day) 3:00 PM Arrive to the venue, wander around, check out the historic village, get a drink, make a new friend! 3:30 PM Ceremony! 4:00 PM Cocktail hour + Kickball / Spikeball ! Right after the ceremony, we’ll have drinks and light snacks.Jasper's father will be leading a kickball game. There will also be Spikebal! For those less inclined to run around in wedding clothes, grab a drink and watch the chaos :) This is also a great time to check out the historic village! 6:00 PM Dinner! 6:30 Toasts! And cupcakes! 7:30 to the end:Dance and party!﻿
